I have always been inspired by fashion and I've enjoyed Aläia’s latest collections, so I created this web design concept using the Spring & Fall RTW 2019 collections.
I took a minimal design approach, in order for it to remain luxurious but also edgy and appealing to a more niche audience and useful for the customer.
The logo is centered on the top of the page, the header and menu elements are fixed until the bottom of the scroll. All images scroll behind text, except for shop item galleries. On mobile, there’s a small border around the display to keep visibility clear and not too big on smartphones with bigger screens.
I kept some essential sections like 'Maison' and 'Heritage' due to the story and legacy of the brand. No credit taken for any photos, all the photos were collected from Vogue and Maison Aläia).
